2021/2022 £3,000
Although we have not been doing our regular raffle members have popped money in our collection box, a member gave a large donation and another topped our total for the year up to £3,000 to give to CANCER RESEARCH UK. We all may have the pandemic in our lives but we are still trying to help those with Cancer as we have lost people to Cancer more than Covid even in this last year. THANK YOU EVERYONE

Cancer Research Award Day Friday, June 30th, 2017
Julie and Suzanne were asked to go to London to accept an award on behalf of Keep Dancing for the money raised for Cancer Research UK. Over the last four years, we have collected over £15,000 from raffles from our dances and a weekly raffle. We were so surprised to have been nominated and to find out that we WON out of 500 nominees put forward.
We travelled up to the The Merchant Taylor’s Hall and were met by our colleague Duncan Yandell whom we invited along with us to celebrate the day, as he continues to raise money for Cancer Research by singing and giving us some of his proceeds in memory of his dear friend whom we lost a year ago to Cancer. Mr Ed Aspel gave a lovely speech about our school and then Cancer Research President Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz presented us with the award.
A fabulous day meeting so many wonderful people who were there to collect their awards for either their fund raising and survival stories.
A day to remember THANK YOU FRIENDS OF KEEP DANCING FOR ALL YOUR HELP.
2017 raised £5,100 towards CANCER RESEARCH UK. WE SENT OFF 1,500 OF THIS MONEY TO FOREST HOLME AS WELL THIS YEAR. Thank you everyone x
